First Aid at Work (Regulated First Aid Qualification)

Pre-requisites: Learners must be physically able to carry out the procedures detailed in the course outline and must attend all sessions to be eligible for assessment.

Course aims: This is a full Qualsafe approved First Aid at Work course, in accordance with the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. This course covers practical skills needed by a first aider in the workplace and will give you the confidence and knowledge to deal with any first aid emergencies.

  • Certification: Upon successful completion certification is valid for 3 years, after which a re-qualification course becomes necessary.

    NB: Under the current guidelines it is "strongly recommended" that first aid trained staff attend a 1/2 day update every 12 months - before completing full re-qualification training at the 3 year point.
